Who can participate in the competition?
Any BSc or MSc student from any European university.
Where does the event take place, and can I participate remotely?
The competition will take place in Budapest, Hungary, and participants will be required to personally be present to be able to work on the task.
What level of knowledge is required to participate?
No prior knowledge is required.
How many people can be in a team?
A team consists of 2-4 members.
What can I do if I don’t have a team but want to participate in the competition?
If you are looking for teammates you can join our ‘Find your teammates!’ WhatsApp group
What if a teammate unexpectedly can’t make it on competition day?
In order for a team to be included in the competition, at least two members have to be present at the competition day.
Should I bring something to eat?
You can bring snacks but sufficient food (including lunch) will be provided by the organisers.
Will there be free Wi-Fi?
Yes
Will the event happen during lectures?
Yes
How will I receive the prizes in case my team wins?
The monetary prizes will be given out as a one time scholarship via bank transaction for the individual members of the team.
The full prize will be divided between the team members. In order for us to be able to do the transaction by Hungarian law, you will be required to sign a Scholarship Contract with BEST Budapest.
(The contract will contain no further requirements from you)
Is there a place to have a prayer break?
Yes, but please contact the organisers in advance if you need a prayer break.
