About INEC

The goal of INEC — beyond competing for valuable prizes and having fun — is to highlight real-world scenarios that young engineers may encounter early in their careers. At INEC, challenges take the form of 30- to 90- minute tasks assigned by our partners. Company or university representatives present the task, and then work hours begin. A challenge is a brief task that needs to be solved, like brainstorming new innovative ideas, evaluating possible solutions for real technical problems or reducing the emissions of existing systems and many more. About the challenges:

  • The tasks are designed to test participants' quick problem-solving skills and knowledge applicable in industrial settings through real-life problems
  • The challenges do not require deep knowledge in a given field, they can be solved by first-year engineering students as well.
  • Teamwork is a crucial part of each challenge. It is essential that you split the task in your team, as the time will be limited!
